In Surrey, health and social care work together in a joint programme to better identify and support unpaid carers, which is lead by the new Surrey Carers Partnership Group.

Surrey is now seeking unpaid carers from across the county to become members of this new Carers Partnership Group.

The new Carers Partnership Group will focus on assuring the system and unpaid carers in Surrey, that the Carers Programme is delivering against the commitments in the Surrey Carers Strategies.

The group will also ensure that Surrey Heartlands ICS are embedding the legislation and key duties we have as a system around unpaid carers and advise the programme of any emerging priorities within the county.
